At KIND MINDS OOSH, we understand that the Child Care Subsidy (CCS) can feel very confusing and overwhelming. This section has been created to explain it in a simple and practical way.

If your individual or combined family income is under $533,280 per year, you may be eligible for up to 90% off our daily fees through CCS and we wouldn’t want you to miss out on a benefit you may be entitled to.

CCS is a financial assistance program provided by Centrelink to help families with childcare costs. The amount you receive depends on factors such as:

• Your family income

• Whether you are a single parent or couple

• Your recognised activity hours (work, study, volunteering, etc.)

Once approved, Centrelink pays the subsidy directly to us so that families only pay the remaining “gap” amount, which could be as little as 10% of the daily fee!
